Hotel 1888 at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort

When the historic Stone Bath House at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort was reinvented as an upscale 16-room boutique hotel in 2025, Blackbird Agency provided branding and the launch campaign for the opening. Unlike any other hotel offering in the Glenwood Springs or western slope region, this property sits poolside at the world’s largest hot springs pool.

With an almost 140 year-old history to tell, we brought the brand to life using inspiration from the silver miners and railroad barons who originally envisioned a European resort oasis in the Rockies.

Blackbird was involved in almost every aspect of the birth of this new hotel property in the heart of Glenwood Springs. From brand vision to opening. We designed a launch that included pre-opening teaser campaign, opening launch party for press and special guests, digital content, and ongoing post-launch campaigns.
